Firth Park

Welcome to our wonderful heritage park!

Firth Park is a Green Flag award winning park in the North East area of Sheffield and it is the city's first publicly owned park.

Steel Manufacturer and former Lord Mayor Mark Firth, one of Sheffield's most famous sons, gifted the park to the people of the city (then a town) in 1875.

Our 15 hectare mixed use green space is well loved and well used by the vibrant, multi-cultural community surrounding it, and which takes its name from the park itself.

Firth Park is a Heritage Park and it's one of 13 City Parks in Sheffield, classed as being a destination in its own right. It is managed by Sheffield City Council's Parks & Countryside department with voluntary groups like the Friends of Firth Park.
